Winning Hearts and Games - The Success of Our Students

GCA is proud to celebrate the excellent performances by our kids at the Quaid Day Rapid Chess Championship 2025 in Hyderabad competed in a 6 - rounds format Swiss tournament. Our young players demonstrated remarkable focus and sportsmanship during the tournament representing the academy with great spirit .

We are thrilled to announce that Rumaisa Memon, one of our old students, secured First position in the Girls and U - 10 category. Facing the tough series of matches Rumaisa showed great resilience throughout all the rounds in order to secure first position in the Girls category  . Her ability to stay calm and composed despite losses is truly remarkable and is a testament to her hard work and growing understanding of the game.

Among the winner’s circle was another student of GCA Divya Kumari who delivered an outstanding performance and won an award despite the fact that  it was her first tournament. Divya played with great confidence securing 2 points and won a well deserved award. It’s a big deal for a kid to participate in a six round tournament that too for the first time is an incredible milestone in itself.

We Congratulate both Rumaisa and Divya on their achievements and looking forward for their future victories.
