Rayaan Saqib Wins Silver in NJCC 2026

Our student Rayaan Saqib recently achieved a milestone by securing Second position in U - 10 Category at the  CFP - 1st National Junior Chess Championship 2026. The event was held from 7th - 9th January in The Trinity School in Lahore. Rayaan’s performance was excellent throughout the event and he showed great focus and consistency against competitive Young players.

The tournament followed a Swiss format with 9 Rounds. The games were played under a standard time control of 60 minutes for each player, with a 30-second increment added from the very first move. This time format required the students to stay focused and manage their time carefully over the three days of play. 

He showed great stability throughout all the rounds and out of all he won 3 and drew 3 with a total score of 4.5. His ability to remain undefeated in these six games helped him climb the rankings. We congratulate Rayaan on this achievement and his dedication to improving his chess skills.
