A Double Crown: Giri and Vaishali Triumph at the FIDE Grand Swiss 2025

The Fide Grand Swiss 2025 has concluded and what a fantastic tournament it was! The competition was very energetic as there were all the Top Chess Players around the globe to secure the prestigious place of winner. 

In the end, Anish Giri and Matthias Bluebaum procured their places in the Open category whereas in the Women event it was a proud moment for R. Vaishali who has successfully defended her title.

Vishali’s win is a sign of her passion and determination as she had a tough time in the tournament recently but she came back stronger, dug deeper, changed her approach and not only participated in the Grand Swiss 2025 but also  gave her best. 

Her win not only solidified her place as a formidable force in women's chess but also made her the first person to win the FIDE Women's Grand Swiss twice in a row.

It’s a brilliant time for Chess and all eyes are on Fide Grand Swiss 2026 and excitement is building in the audience
