Charting the Chess Horizon: GCA’s Director Outlines the Genesis Training Mandate

September 1st was a momentous day at Our Academy Genesis House of Chess as we weren’t just running a normal meeting from our routine Our Director shared a secret blueprint for How we cultivate Champions in Our Academy by just teaching a game of 64 checkered squares on the board.

Our squad of new trainers got a privilege to spend a day with Sir Muhammad Ebad receiving a deep dive into how the Genesis system works. He explained our entire philosophy to the new badge of coaches ensuring crystal clarity of our system and goals for the journey ahead. The workshop was all about understanding our unique methodology of training. The reason behind every “How” and “Why” of the lesson plans and class structure is to ensure not only a personalized training and a guarantee to get a world class chess training for every student (new or old) but to maintain a growth mindset for our new trainers too.

The session was marked by remarkable clarity on our expectations regarding the students' Chess growth and management. Sir M.Ebad explained the secret recipes we apply which are designed to help the students climb the ladder of mastery in Chess step by step. He focused on explaining how to make learning resonates with each individual kid.

The focus wasn't on dictating; it was on deep diving the emotional intelligence and motivational techniques required to unlock a student’s potential. It was a powerful reminder that our strength lies in the personal touch and the deep, individualized attention our classes offer and set us apart.

The most valuable takeaway was that our work is a holistic endeavor. The Director shared crucial insights to the operational pulse of the Academy, the small small things but those that make us thrive. From students' motivational techniques during the lessons to parental communication best practices were explored. It was a sincere handover of the Genesis culture, reminding everyone that while the lessons are about chess, the true objective is molding well-rounded individuals. We’re thrilled to see our new team apply this visionary perspective as they take their place at the helm of our classrooms! ♟️
