“Success is the sum of small efforts, repeated day in and day out.”
— Robert Collier
In Our Academy, the most beautiful sight is not just a CHECKMATE, it’s the youngest students of 5 and 6 years old who are teaching us a lesson that is inspiring for everyone . “Consistency is the secret to greatness”.
To an adult, weekly 2 -3 lessons might look small and less but for these kindergarteners it’s a huge commitment which requires a lot of effort. They aren’t just memorizing moves and learning about important chess strategies but also showing up to practice focus, resilience, critical thinking and patience.
The magic of regularity at this age lies in the formation of positive habits. By making Chess a consistent part of their routines, these young players unconsciously teaching themselves the importance of Commitment, Time management, and skills that go far beyond the Checkered board.
This simple act of being consistent does all the groundwork required for all the future achievements in school, college and life itself. It instills a sense of responsibility and pride, they are our little regulars and their regular presence is a powerful reminder that all the greatest journeys start from that one consistent step that we take everyday even when we have no motivation.
They aren't just learning to play chess; they are learning how to learn and how to commit, and that's the most valuable checkmate of all.
These Young Regulars are Shining Stars of Motivation for people of all age groups. They don’t have decades of experience like many of us but they possess a very crucial quality that is irreplaceable in today’s age where 80% of us are struggling to stay consistent with even the smallest of tasks we do.
We celebrate their regularity not just for the chess skills it develops, but for the incredible life skills of discipline, ownership, and joy that they are capturing along the way.
